As a British guy, is it possible to get into any of the top fraternities? I've heard they don't choose anyone from out of state, let alone another county.

Probably not this fall. But don't rule out the mid tiers, they can be just as fun just different

You might want to wait to rush until your sophomore year and get to know people. A lot of the guys getting bids from top houses have known a member for a good semester to year.
