how bad is pledgeship?

by: Greek33

How bad is fraternity pledgeship honestly? I know you have to wear pledge attire and I've heard hell week sucks, but how much of a time commitment is it? I definitely want to put school first, and I don't wanna feel like I'm gonna die because pledgeship is so hard. I'm mainly looking at mid tier houses

School is first for most people. It takes up all your free time outside of class but a lot of it is fun. You'll have to time manage well.

What Ye said. School always comes first and most frats realize that. But once the class work is taken care of I guarantee ALL of your time will be taken up by pledgeship. Sometimes the time consumption will even carry over after pledgeship. Especially if you become a rush captain. Which is a good thing all of the guys who join a fraternity want it to be the second priority of their college career
