was out of the country for the most of summer

Can I still get a bid? Never went to any rush events and didn't make contact with any of the fraternities. Am I screwed? I thought the rush process happened when school started but obviously I'm wrong.

Hit up Pike and ATO they will still be rushing guys during week before school starts. You will have time to decide between them

Contact all upper middle and middle fraternities and tell them when you're getting into town and that you're interested in rushing. If they invite you or and you're a cool guy you can get a bid. You can get contact info from their websites

Can you list out these fraternities? They kinda blend in with some of the upper lows and I have a hard time differentiating between the two.

Upper mid/lower top is kappa sig, sigma chi, delt, and KA. Id send a text out to all of them. These will be a long shot, especially kappa sig I imagine you won't have a chance there.

You'll have a good chance at pike and ato.

Those are the ones id focus on. If you only get an opportunity at pike and ato and you don't like the guys then just wait until next year and become friends with all the actives in the upper fraternities while you're a freshman. You'll be missing out though

Sounds like rush wasn't a priority. You made your bed. You could make do with what's still left in terms of fraternities pledge classes or you could work differently next summer.

Might have a chance at ka machi delt, probably getting late though

Ato, Pike, Phi Psi, phi delt are definitely possible, as well as all the bottom tiers.

You could try delt if they do spring rush this year, otherwise you might have to wait until next year if you want top/upper mid
