KA is without a doubt better than delt, delt doesn't even have a house in west campus. As long as they get a solid PC this year. once the Omicrons are gone after after next year KA will easily be better than sigma chi too. Right now I view the upper mids as 1 ksig 2 sigchi 3 ka 4 delt. Still, honestly they're all pretty damn similar, there's a huge fall off after that with fraternities

There's not a substantial enough difference to say one is better than the other. KA delt and sigma chi are about the same. I'd say that after this year kappa sig will firmly fall in line with them if they don't finish their house. Delt is not in wc but they have never been and have remained stagnant in upper middle for a really long time. KA won't be better than machi or delt once the omicrons are out, look at the kids they bid now. Hint: it's the same kind of kids delt and machi get.

I agree that they're all similar enough that you can't really rank them, but KA has more money, a better house, very powerful alumni, and a strong history here at UT. The guys in KA are basically identical to delts and sigma chi, but these aspects push KA above the rest, after the omicrons are gone of course.

You are completely right. That's why lots of girls are surprised when they go to a fiji party and realize the guys don't act what they think a top house would act like, they're just all loaded. Lots of the guys (especially the ones from all boys schools) don't know how to interact with girls well either. I'd say the upper middle and sigep might even have more of the stereotypical 'bro' or cool type kids youd think would join a fraternity, but Fiji/sae have more kids with money and who dress and live a preppy/fratty lifestyle, having money to go to private school, play lots of golf/fish/hunt, and take lots of vacations. You won't see them dating much outside of pkt/chi o because they aernt used to interacting with those types of girls. It's like they grew up in a different subculture

#2 DG is nowhere near middle tier anymore. Sad to see them in the bottom now but they're the ones who got themselves there

there is such a thing as G8 eight. You must be the same DG, KD or ADPi alum who's feeling left out. G8 eight includes the top and mid tiers....anything else is bottom.

how about keeping DG as a back up while shooting for Zeta (I'm a legacy) Alpha Phi (legacy here, too) or AXO? Or do I need to keep something else on my card as back up?

Pike is still good, but you definitely notice a difference between them and machi KA delt etc and their house kinda sucks. Honestly I think they're the only other respectable chapter outside of the ones listed above

pike is alright.. they have one big party and no one goes to it because its the same weekend as better stuff like pat o's
