Agree. Almost no chance at all. Unless you have a major "hook" (big-time legacy, 10+ close friends in one house, etc) I honestly wouldn't put myself through the horror of junior rush with zero connections.

This is completely accurate. That's the only way anyone above a sophomore gets a bid. I wouldn't waste my money on recruitment if you don't fit into those categories.

So chapters like AXID, KD won't consider a junior? Isn't there some kind of a separate quota?

Upperclassman quota is for sophomores, juniors and seniors but it is effectively for sophomores.There are plenty of sophomore transfers already known to houses to fill the quote.

The only house that would consider taking you will be SDT. AZD and KD might take a few juniors but like the others said, they would have already had tons of friends in the house. Just because a house is considered lower tier doesn't mean they relax their standards or are desperate.
