Lol ok, DG! DG definitely does "reach out"...y'all are bottom now. Add APhi to this list instead of DG since you're obviously listing the top 8. For the most part, top 8 houses don't reach out-if they want you, they want you, and if they don't...they don't.

Whatever you want to call those 3 sororities that come after big 6....get it? "KEY 3" or "CORE 4 less one" or "MID tiers". All referring to the same sororities, dumb ass.

they have group dinners in May where the freshman actives bring 3 girls each for evaluation, and some other get togethers

it just means you were not on their radar via friends, connections or your app and recs. you can still wow them during rush.

Don't lie to her. There's no way to wow sororities during rush if you're one of the many who are dropped after first round because you weren't on their radar.

They all have looked at your applications and rec letters by now and have your on their radar if they are interested. big 6 for sure has already finished reaching out to girls with connections;
the next 3 (Key 3, mid-tiers, Core 4 minus 1, whatever you want to call AXO, APHI, DG) def already have their targets, too, but will still consider girls without connections as long as your attractive/hot.

Stop with the key 3 minus one. The mid tier sororities are AXO, ADPi, APhi and DG. I checked out the tumblr for each of these groups and they are all very similar. ADPi is the 2016 UT chapter of the year and was also chapter of the year in 2015. They are a strong mid tier sorority. All these groups are strong. Be fair.

Wow mean girl much. You must have no swag. Give credit where credit is due. ADPi is the chapter of the year for 2015 and 2016 so they most definitely have swag. Sounds like DG or APhi is trying to make themselves look better by tearing down ADPi. I guess they are nervous. Just making up stuff on this site (key 3) doesn't make it true.

Your recs and application haven't gotten their attention and they don't already know you, so yeah a lot of the most competitive houses will drop you in favor of PNM's they already know or were on their radar.

big 6 will only choose girls they know....so if they haven't reached out by now or if you don't know any actives, then you will be dropped. BUT, you will have a shot at the key 3/mid tiers, so, if you manage to get interest from them (alpha chi, alpha phi, dg), GO for it, because those are great chapters.
If you have to go down to kd or adpi, that's prolly ok, too, just less cool/prestigious.
If you go down further to azd, aephi or sdt, think twice and consider waiting for next year or try going COB (if you can manage to make friends with actives in the big 6 or key 3).

look your best, try to get to know some actives and other pnms between now and rush, polish up your happy face and shoot for AXO, APHI, DG.
