Longhorn is also fabulous for girls, even more so probably than Mystic. At the same time, (for girls) there is a great up and coming Camp Honey Creek. It is a derivative of the late Camp Arrowhead.

Camp Honey Creek is a shadow of what Camp Arrowhead was....on a creek, not the Guadalupe like Arrowhead was. It's run by a bunch of lesbians. Girls: Waldemar, Mystic, Heart of the Hills, Kickpoo or Rocky River Ranch is the way to go.

Not for the Big 6 they aren't.

Anyway, if you're old enough to be looking at this site then you're way to old to do something like camp to make connections at this point

The time to go to camp and make connections was like 6-10 years ago. Unless there are moms reading it's way too late. I went from after third grade until after 8th, didn't make it to the highest cabin but made tons of friends and kept in touch in high school.

Lonehollow and Ozark are ones I am starting to hear about too. I don't know much about either but seems like kids going to some of the big ones occasionally have younger siblings going to Lonehollow and Ozark is definitely getting some kids from Dallas and Houston too.
