I think Poster has a valid point. At UT many top sororities already know who they will pick. Large cities, whatever exclusive high schools, all know each other. Those from a small town don't have that advantage, and must really compete. So, whether you're from a large city but not the "in" zip code or from a place not considered a "city", let's face it, it would be fortunate to land in any of those groups.

except drop dg down a notch and insert aphi after axo.
dg will NEVER be down with KD, ADPi etc but they def are a step below aphi. that's not how it's always been but that is what it is now. i'd say if you get a bid from the top 9 at UT, consider yourself lucky. but don't kid anyone: if you get/accept a bid to any of the others, you will be still be in a solid chapter with a great house and fun mixers/events, but it's just not as impressive
