about sorority recruitment

I know you've already gone through recruitment, but to answer your questions for all the other incoming rushees out there, a lot of girls actually get dropped from all the houses vs. drop out. There are just so many stellar rushees coming through, it's uber-competitive.

If you somehow get dropped before pref night there's no going back - you just don't get anything. I'm sure Panhellenic is trying to workout a better process, but until then, no - no rushees are guaranteed any house, not even a bottom tier (especially now that they've taken SDT out of formal rush). This sorority rush coach wrote a pretty good article addressing a bunch of UT-related rush stuff on her site (Hiking Heels Rush Coaching). PBP took a more diverse class because they had a rough rush and had to snap bid. I can’t imagine that will continue! Betting next year their rush is much better.

Theta gets a lot if the girls PBP used to get and expects to get.....the IDGAF girls. They are tons of fun but certainly not as nice as some. Lots of partying! Rumor had it that they did cut based on grades some this year though. Guess nationals got tired of them being at the bottom. Hope PBP nationals notice too.

Kappa happened to have the best year of the three so they do look like what you expect PKT to look like this year. Definitely care about grades more than PBP for sure

Chi o does well still. Girls like PKT but not from big feeders. Grades matter here too. God Squad or party group here

Agree with above about Zeta, Tri Delt, and Alpha Phi. AXO had an off year but good group too. Zeta gets a lot of hate but I think they are sweet girls and get lots of hate bc they are so hot.

Will add that others have great sisterhoods and tons of fun. If you fit in DG, don’t think you will be happier in PKT.....you won’t! Just accept where you fit. KD is another one....girls are studious but fun and love each other! There are an awful lot of very studious girls here rushing....do some soul searching! You will be happier where you belong no matter what this stupid site rates the chapters!
