I think being in back older chapters is a good idea as long as there is alumni support. Beta just came back and are doing well for a new group.

Sigma Nu got kicked off a while ago. A lot of chapters were kicked off in the 80s-90s... ATO, Phi Delt, Beta, Sigma Nu, Lambda Chi

Beta closed in mid 2000s. DKE also closed in the 2000s as did sigma chi. Delta upsilon closed in the 90s. I heard they (DU) are returning to campus. I dont understand this constant churning to bring groups back. Unless they had a long tradition and strong alumni its pointless. Ato and sigma chi both successsful for this reason. Beta had great potential for this reason and only time will tell. The rest just subsist at the bottom of the food chain until they die out again.

I read somewhere AOPi sorority took over the Sigma Nu house for awhile, but could not make it as a chapter. True?
And Is the house still there?
