what is the process of spring rush for sororities?

Is it more of an "insider, who you know" type rush or do they actually have rush events?

some may have actual, scheduled events but most will not; they grab girls who know actives.

They have a required thing that every girl interested in joining is required to go in and meet the sisters but you should have a good idea where you stand before going in based on girls you knew from your area

I'm in a fraternity here so I'm not exactly sure how it all works but this is what I'm assuming
