Sigma Delta Tau - ΣΔΤ Sorority Ratings at UT

AXiD isn't as traditional a sorority as some others, but they have plenty of strengths despite being considered bottom tier. The girls I know there claim to have just as much fun. There's good sisterhood, and a greek experience. But join SDT? Whole other category. I'm sorry landing here after an unlucky pref is now an option. It'll take some kind of PNM to even pref or show up here purposely. So to those PNMs who do, observe other sororities, learn something and don't let SDT stagnate in muck

because of rfm girls are going to be forced to continue to go to their parties. they will be figured equally in the end quota so even though they have pref parties where no one wants to be there they will get assigned just as many new members as the real houses. the ones who drink the rfm koolaide and don't suicide are going to be screwed. i bet 1/4 of their bid list shows up. no one really wants you sdt and you're ruining greek life for a lot of good pnms because you're doing formal

Because of RFM, they will make quota, but I predict 60% no show rate for their bid day.

really? whats the big deal? what harm does it do for them to try? they aren't hurting anybody by trying. All of us girls joined a sorority to be a part of something and that does not change just because one sorority might not be at the level of some others. They want to grow, so let them. This is becoming absurd. No one is hating, no one is bashing. Worry about your recruitment, grow up, learn to empathize. And no, I am not in SDT, but that doesn't mean I feel like I have the right to be cruel.

I don't know where to begin. this may sound terrible, but if you can, sift through the leftover girls you end up with and bid the ones that have looks, social skills, and know what greek life means to begin with. Don't underestimate how hard THAT will be, because not many of those girls will want to join. God help you, but at least you'll learn something from formal recruitment.

I think these girls are nice and down to earth so ignore the haters

Stop with the self ranking. Stop with the down ranking the good houses. Focus on improving yourselves like don't blanket bid the entire UT campus because you're so desperate for members. You look even worse than you are. Formal rush is going to be disastrous for you. You misfits can't compete on an even playing field with even the weakest of the real sororities. I have no idea what you are thinking doing formal so soon. I'd feel sorry for y'all if you weren't so vicious here.

Make your house and chapter into something pnms aren't hell bent on cutting first round. For starters, looks matter, grades matter, social skills matter...maybe be a little more discriminate?
