Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at University of Texas at Austin - UT 1.0 This is the only frat I would genuinely stay away from if I was rushing. After the recent events the last three years of three members passing, there is something fundamentally wrong with the chapter at UT. I pray for the members and families affected by the passings deeply however, this is not a true fraternity at the moment and there are deeply rooted issues.

There must be something seriously wrong with you if you’re saying this and blaming the members for the struggles of their brothers. This is 100% a member of another fraternity using the unfortunate circumstances and hard times that Sigma Chi fell upon because they think it’ll make them look better. SX is OR, they are here to stay and will come back stronger. Genuinely, I pray you find peace instead of going on GR and blaming people for other’s mental health. Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at University of Texas at Austin - UT 1.4 I went to rush this fraternity and all of the guys seemed pretty cool. Then I talked to my sister who is in a sorority here and she told me the truth. They hide the amount their dues are from members, having half their pc drop every year, and they are total creeps to women. They are right next to sorority houses yet they have to throw joint parties with delt so they can get women there. Also, they gave me a bid after one dinner and didn’t even have a bid card for me, they just said “we want to bid you, you would be the leader of this pledge class and the coolest guy at Texas.” Super weird to me

Sig chi has boasted there ratings on here to get you thinking they are “top tier” Do not let them trick you like they do every rushee to thinking their a good frat and get trapped. They mix with the weirdest sororities and are dorks. And girls in good sorority who get rejected from good frats will come here.. Don’t make the same mistake as me, litteraly ask anyone on campus who the best big 6 Frats are 9/10 will not say Sig Chi. They will show you their best guys but the other 170 of them are weird. Goodluck rushees hope this help… P.S. Go FIJI SAE ZBT or KA or Delt or Sig Ep and don’t look at this website for advice LOL. Sig Chi post their own ratings about themselves.. weirdos

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at University of Texas at Austin - UT 4.7 Sigma chi is made up almost all of southern texas guys, new PC has some out of state kids but they all try to act southern. Good new PC probably one of the biggest. Fun parties. Only negative thing I have to say is these kids are the biggest degenerates I may have ever met. Walking by their house there's always people on their little balcony or even on their roof drinking at like 2:00 PM on a Monday. Seen a bunch of them go in to nueces mart on a Wednesday at 10:00AM and buy out all of their beer because one of them failed a test and they needed to celebrate.
