...but they pale in comparison to Mizzouri's Betas. Buen Retiro looks like a shack compared to the new $14 million frat castle.

Very few fraternities at Texas do much with campus/community. Fiji is, without question, a top two chapter at Texas.

why he said that. Of course other fraternities are recognized by UT. Just look at the IFC website.

Fraternity, know some cool guys here, but how are they one of the few fraternities still recognized by UT? Aim pretty sure UT recognizes all of the official national fraternities on campus. I mean they even recognize Omicron as a campus group.

I went to their island party and had a pretty good time. They have a rush list that is hard to get on if you don't know someone or go to roundup. They are a good group of guys though.

They've lived in the Governor's mansion since 1908. They are one of the few fraternities still recognized by UT. They were chartered in 1883...same as the school. If you say the parties aren't fun, you have obviously never been to one.

I was not a FIJI, but went to a lot of their parties. They always have a good time and are not stuck up like other Frats. I dig the house because it has so much history and feels alot like what I imagined a fraternity house should be like. Good mix of people from all backgrounds as well from small towns to big cities. I hate some fraternities that have basically everyone from the same Highschool. Big problem with the SAEs. Do a lot of good for the school and community too.
