Decided to pop on here and give my honest review and experience. If you want to join greek life I suggest another school. The sorority is fun as a new member but right after you are initiated their true colors are revealed. It is very cliquey. Everyone talks bad about everyone and constantly looks for ways to instigate drama. We also have an event called "pass the penguin" where siblings go around in a circle and indirectly complain/talk negatively about other siblings right in front of them. If that does not scream toxic then I don't know what does...

I had first joined the sorority in order to find something to do on campus besides academics. When I was going through my new member process and initiation, I had felt very supported by the siblings that I had gotten to know. I was encouraged very early on to take leadership positions, as my siblings shared that they have seen potential in me. This sorority cares a lot about academics, as they have initiatives for good grades and completing assignments. There is an attendance policy that is, while expecting a high attendance, is also lenient in the case that something may pop up. There are also attendance plans for those who need them. This chapter has been striving to find new ways to become a more inclusive and equitable group, although there are some people in the sorority who have been questionable of these ideals. There has been a lot of issues lately, but it seems that there is being a turn taken to address them and thoughts on how to prevent them for future years. I hope to see that a lot of genuine concerns that have been brought up in previous reviews will be addressed. Overall, I have enjoyed my time in this chapter so far and recommend it to anyone else who is potentially interested in joining, but I also hope that many of these rising issues will soon be addressed.

For those reading the previous comments, I formally want to apologize. Whether they are written by one or a few sisters it shows a negative light on our sorority. We as a whole are nothing compared to the comments you have read. It is a shame that some people have to stoop so low and write these horrible things on a website for all to read. Before making any hash decisions come visit if you are interested in joining! I have been in the sorority for a while and I have to admit it is going to be one of the hardest goodbyes because of the people I have met during my time.

Joined this sorority to gain friends and it just seems like everyone hates me for no reason, poor E-board and they preach diversity and inclusiveness but it doesn't feel like that at all. Everyone talks about everyone and it's just an uncomfortable enviornment

not the stereotypical sorority, but that’s what i love about it! very diverse and inclusive of all siblings! i have meet so many amazing people despite just joining recently.

Looks like a fun group of people when ever I see them on campus they always say hi to me always see them in the dinning hall hanging out together having fun
