bottom tier sororities

Is it worth joining a bottom tier sorority? I want to meet nice and friendly sisters but want to know what it's really like to be in a bottom tier sorority in case something goes wrong during recruitment and I end up in a house I don't want. Do you find it hurts your social life on campus, affects the kinds of guys you meet, etc.? I know it sounds shallow but my older sister joined a bottom tier sorority at her school and was miserable and didn't want to wear her letters and dropped. I'm wondering if its the same experience at Harvard.

there is no bottom tier. all the sororities here are really good and you would be lucky to be in any of them

not true lol. harsh truth: dg is bottom tier. aphi is fine. theta and kappa are the ones to be proud of getting a bid for.

This is Harvard, being in any sorority won't affect your social life that much and we don't have 'tiers', all the sororities here are great. People who aren't in sororities have no clue what the differences between any of them are anyways.
