greek life
by: HmmmmSo, is Greek Life on this campus over with the new rules? Sounds like everyone will eventually have to close up and go back to living the geeky lifestyle.

honestly I hope this works out. But why don't you make more co-ed final clubs—like enough so that 50% of the student body can be in one as upperclassmen? That's how it is with senior societies. Societies are great although the drawback is that it's only for one year.

Greek life is fine. New freshmen can't be team captains on sports teams their senior year. So what. Most atheletes will be fine forgoing that role to ensure a great social life for four years. The University will not recommend you for prestigious fellowships. Again, if you have the resume, nothing to worry about. These groups award to Greeks at other colleges, so why would these organization let Harvard narrow their award pool with a criteria not recognized anywhere else? They get that Harvard is discriminating in their recommendations and will look at your other recommendations outside Harvard. All this ruling will do is seperate those who will let Harvard run their life... and those who won't.
