Along with Sig Chi, a top 2 frat at Harvard. Sig Chi gets a slight edge with better location (something Kappa Sig is rumored to be working on; Sig Chi is currently closer to the Yard while Kappa Sig is closer to the Quad). Kappa Sig also takes heat for mixing/partying with a lot Northeastern and BU sororities. Nonetheless Kappa Sig has pretty good involvement at Harvard with mixers, parties and tailgates. Lots of athletes and New England/Northeast prep school grads, though decent diversity.

look, SAE is filled with nice, friendly guys but is not a traditional fraternity. the parties are awful and are akin to a club sport smallish mixer. why would you rush given SAE's horrid racial history in other chapters? my advice to Harvard freshman-- choose between sigma chi (best in my opinion) or k sig depending on where you fit in better.
