I really enjoyed their last event, they had bartenders, decorated, a door man, and great music. It's something you don't usually say about fraternities, but, I felt safe and comfortable at their party. Other frats, especially at my school, should take notes from these guys. They even send out emails requesting feedback after their parties.

I graduated last year and was a member of DKE. It is one of the oldest fraternities at Harvard and was the 11th DKE chapter founded. Teddy Roosevelt was in our chapter back in the day. We were inactive for 70 years or so because the other Roosevelt, Franklin D. (also a member of our chapter) got our charter revoked since he joined two fraternal type organizations at once. I had a great experience being a brother, and still am close with my fellow brothers. We've seen explosive growth in new members since we got our charter back. Our events got to the point where we had to request brothers to bring their male friends because of a Male/Female ratio of 1/5 or more at some events. The brothers are a tightknit community and are focused on the future of DKE rather than sticking to old fraternal ideas that plague some other fraternities. The years in DKE at Harvard were some of the best in my life.

Like someone said below, alpha phi is really trying to be the "top" to the point where it can get annoying, excessive, and even sloppy. That being said, some of the girls are cute, know how to have fun, and some (but not all) of my friends have formed really solid friendships through the organization. They just need to stop playing out their insecurities by bashing the other 3 sororities which is totally not classy.

Attractive/good looking group of guys with a solid and close-knit brotherhood. My friends who were rushing were pleasantly surprised by how they were treated at the events and also the parties. Id' say the classiest of the frats and like someone said most like the final clubs- I didn't get the sloppy, final-club reject vibe as I did with Sig Chi and SAE (who take their insecurities out on the BU/BC girls at their parties). Also beautiful house.
