sorority competitiveness??

Am curious about how sorority competitiveness is measured? What does it mean that Gphi, Kappa, DG and AXO are very competitive in this descending order? How does this affect girls rushing?

Sorority competitiveness is measured mostly by social status I would say. With Gphi being known as the pretty and popular girls, kappa as hot but kind of mean, DG as the sweethearts, AXO as the relaxed girls. Personally when I went through I noticed a LOT of girls deciding partially on looks. There are beautiful girls in every house but certain houses you walk into and you'll instantly know if it's a more competitive house. Going along with that, a lot of the upper tier houses have better rushing abilities. I would say generally a little more outgoing and a little more confident because they know they have more of a choice in which girls they get. Why are they competitive? Lots of girls look on this site and know they want the top 5 houses because of their reputations. I even know some girls who wanted the reputation so badly they sacrificed the houses they actually connected with. My advice is to not get too caught up. Yes there is an emphasis on "hot" houses but overall at parties nobody will care and the sisterhood is still good.
