i really want to be in a fraternity, but am busy

by: Possible recruit

I am involved in a few groups on campus that take up 15 hours a week. I have had my heart set on joining a fraternity for a while, but am worried that the pledging process is too time intensive. What do you guys know about the time requirements for Pi Lambda Phi, Alpha Delta Phi, ZBT, and Psi Upsilon? or just info you know about the guys. I need to make an informed decision.

Try to get to know the guys from each of those frats you mentioned and see if you fit in with and like hanging out with them. The comment above that they are "bottom" frats most likely refer to the amount and size of the parties they have and not if they are decent people. It's so much more than just the parties when joining a frat. These are guys you'll be lifelong friends with.

Check out SigEp. We eliminated the pledging process and the on-boarding for the BMP can effectively give you "credit" for your other student activities you are already doing and count them towards higher levels of membership in our brotherhood.
