kkg
by: PnmLots of girls I talked to (including me) felt that at kkg the girls seemed super bored and uninterested in them. Why is that? All perfectly nice girls, some very pretty too and outgoing.

Because KKG generally knows exactly which girls they want and aren't going to make an effort with other girls. Someone on here once wrote something about Kappa only being nice to you if they perceive you to be Kappa-material, and if they don't think that you are, then their attitude toward you will range from indifferent to rude. But that's just my experience.

I am sorry that you had that experience. Please remember that there are lots of wonderful, kind, smart and beautiful women in every other sorority on campus, and I'm sure that many of those women were genuine in their interest in you. Focus on those women and their sororities. Good luck in pref!

I'm in kappa and I love it. I'm really sorry if we made you feel that way. Please don't listen to what these people are saying, they're not in kappa so they wouldn't really know what the sisterhood/anything else is like. They might not like girls in kappa personally, but that doesn't mean the girls in kappa don't like it. I can't speak for the other pledge classes but the sophomore pledge class (mine) is full of the coolest, funniest and nicest girls I have met in college. Just remember that stereotypes are created by people who don't really know... I hope you find a sorority you fit into and have good experiences with every chapter on campus :)

Also, I think nice, outgoing and really pretty are less important to kappa than "hot" and wealthy (like they know your dad is a CEO and that you probably have a Chanel boy bag hanging in your private dorm/apt closet). Of course there are exceptions, but again, it's just my experience.
