People are going to tell you over and over, pick the house that's right for you and don't choose a chapter based on their ranking. Well, I personally found knowing a house's rep beforehand useful because it helped me hone in on the conversations I was having at the houses I felt would be a good fit better. Some were a disappointment and others I was pleasantly surprised by.

The other tip I have for rushees is, when attending your pref parties, be sure to look around the room at the other pnms. Can you imagine them being your sisters or do you feel like the odd man out?
