to watch
by: oI think the top fraternities and sororities to watch are always those that have more ambitious underclassmen. For example, I know Theta Chi, The Lodge, FIJI and even Pike deal with older members who aren't as willing to take the bigger risks when it comes to gameday parties or more open-to-the-public events. So as the younger members move up the ranks it will be interesting to see how the mentality of the respective houses changes.

fiji and theta chi are the only houses that you listed that have upward momentum going rn. and that being said, none of those are "top" fraternities.
past that, their momentum doesn't come from underclassmen who want to throw more open events, it comes from gradual improvement of quality of dudes in those houses

let's chill on it for a second here. pike has no physical house, doesn't have any big parties, doesn't throw tailgates, only has socials with theta/tridelt/azd and at best rushes pretty average kids. I don't see any of that improving wildly in the next few years.
The Lodge has been thought of as perennially right below the top, they have the nicest house at wisconsin, throw fun parties that people go to, actually have socials with aphi/piphi/gphi (sometimes) and used to compete for guys with fiji/theta chi/sig ep.
i get it the lodge is more middle tier now than before but let's not insult them by saying they could swap with pike

I'm in Pike and I guarantee that none of the posts above were written by anyone in Pike. I would never go on this site (which I can now see is a wise decision), except a potential new member from my hometown felt the need to contact me about this particular post this morning. I realized that it was time to draw the line.
This is stupid, the poster above did not even stand up for the Lodge particularly well and just fired off pure lies. You want to rip on Pike? Fine, but at least get your facts straight. We only have socials with TriDelt, Theta, and AXiD? Wrong, we had 6 socials this last semester. We have no physical house? Yeah we don't have a traditional house, but we are also only 10 years old so it is difficult with our alumni base to obtain a traditional house. We are just rushing pretty average kids? That's an opinion you are free to have, but I will say that of my pledge class all but 2 or 3 guys had bids to the Lodge and almost everybody had a bid to another fraternity at or above Pike in terms of your tiers on this website (I actually had 3 bids from fraternities all "ranked" higher than us).
Which brings me to my next point. Do not try and start some stupid beef between the Lodge and Pike because frankly we love the Lodge. I think a lot of guys in the Lodge probably got bids to Pike as well, and I went out all the time with guys from the Lodge last semester. This website is nothing but a place for cowards to get off on spreading lies.

Pike is going up pretty quickly; they just started a lot lower on the totem pole. But in reality I see them just kinda switching with the Lodge.
