They're written by biased people who are only trying to slam other houses. You end up where you end up for A REASON.

If you get along with the guys or girls in that house, and you think you met some awesome people then look past the rankings and discussion posts and think "Would I rather join a higher ranked house just because of its rank, or join a house where I met people I liked, who I got along with"
Joining a house based only on rep and ranking could lead to dropping and having to start all over again.
