Basically, the more popular the house, the harder it is to get a bid since these sororities usually have their pick of PNMs. This is why its super important to keep an open mind at every house during rush..everyone likes to think they are "top tier" material which can lead to disappointment for a lot of girls if they don't get asked back to certain houses. good luck!

^^ SO SO TRUE so many people will do that. And keep in mind too, a house I wasn't really that fond of before pref I ended up falling in love with. So that's also an important reason why you need to have an open mind.

Totally true. I had my heart set on a one of the sororities mentioned going in---I LOVED this girl from my hometown (who had just graduated) and she had written me a rec. I was cut before pref and took it pretty hard. Then I looked at the houses that I had left, and realized there was another sorority that I had loved since day 1 (also one of the above that was mentioned) and hadn't really given them a totally fair shot since my heart was set on XYZ. Well, with XYZ gone, I realized that the other house was really where I fit in the best. Now, I couldn't be happier.

To be totally honest, it really depends on the girl but I would say it goes Kappa, Gphi, DG as most competitive and then AXO, Alpha Phi, followed by Pi Phi, Theta, Tri Delt and AXD pretty much in that order.
