out of state rush

how hard is it to get into a top sorority if youre not from Wisconsin/Minnesota? will being from the west coast hurt my chances?

If you're only rushing to get into a top house you're doing it for all the wrong reasons and shouldn't even bother going through recruitment. Greek life would be better off without people like you.

alright there champ. greek life is inherently social and some people actually fit in in the good houses and value being social. let's not strike someone down cuz they are interested in certain houses. Not at all. In fact, it helps to make you stand out. However, being well rounded, friendly, attractive and articulate are just as if not more important. Good luck to you!!!

Well....maybe don't call it a sorority but also be yourself. If you're fake, you may end up in a house that isn't really right for your, regardless if it's "top" or "bottom". Don't ask "what do the top houses look for" but think "how do I make myself so that I get the house that I want".
