Are there sororities that tend to draw similar types of girls? If so, it would be helpful to know the personalities e.g. girly girls, fashionistas, partiers, athletes etc.

Also, are there houses that are more involved and athletic than others? This is really important to me and I'm just afraid I won't be able to tell from rush events or make the wrong choice.

There are some niche house but they'll find you if you fit there. Just go through recruitment and try to enjoy yourself. Let go of all your preconceived notions and just see what girls you click with best during events. It'll all work out.

There are athletic girls, girly girls, fashionistas, and party girls in EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER. When you go through rush really get to know the girls. PIck based on the conversations you have since that's how you'll really get to know the girls. If you dont want to spend time with "partiers" no mater what chapter you're in there will be people for you to hang out with that also dont like to party. Or people you can always go out with if you love it! Really don't worry so much about that. Just relax and trust the system, it was designed this way for a reason.

Don't worry about house stereotypes, focus on the conversations you have at each house and go with your gut. It is a MUTUAL (meaning the sorority chooses who they want too) selection process for a reason, trust the system!
