rec letters

is it worth it to have a recommendation letter for a sorority even if that alumni is not from Wisconsin? I have a close family friend who was in a chapter at a different university, and I was wondering if it would still help me.

Getting a letter of rec gets you in the door and makes them look at you closer. DO IT
