The above link is a recent article regarding the loss of recognition of Chi Phi Fraternity.
The article states....."Reports of periods of "hooded isolation," forced binged drinking and food deprivation led the University of Wisconsin-Madison to "terminate" a fraternity from campus Wednesday.
The Chi Phi fraternity chapter will no longer be recognized on campus after an initial complaint in January over hazing new members during an initiation weekend in December that left one student with a concussion.
An investigation found that chapter leaders fostered a dangerous hazing environment and participated in acts that "seriously threatened the health and safety of all the new members," according to a university statement.

Nationals owns it. No way they'll sell it to another org, unless they decide to give up on the chapter altogether. But lots of alumni in the area, so I doubt. Plus the land is valuable. Probably will rent it again like they did last time.

You freshmen/sophomores are so, so stupid. You don't know how chapter housing financing works. Yes, they own it. But is your alumni board or nationals going to pay four years of incredibly high property tax on one of the city's most historic neighborhoods and best properties? Absolutely not. You aren't allowed on campus for four years. They will rent out the house to someone. You've done it before and so have others.

sure, rent it out, but that's not exactly the same as another chapter "taking it." who were you even replying to? everybody but "lol," who does seem pretty stupid, is on the same page.
