frats
by: JWhat frat has the best balance of hard partying vs least fratty/geed-hating?

The hardest partying of the top houses are du and sig chi, but they both have superiority complexes and look down on people in other houses and look down even moreso on geeds.
out of the middle; prolly theta chi. they do their own thing and are pretty open and accepting over everyone, but they also dont party really hard.
middle ground is probably something like the lodge??
idk, it sounds kinda bad but the fraternities that are known for going hard are generally better houses and those houses tend to think very highly of themselves.
Also with the amount non-greeks hate and stereotype greek life here, it's very very easy to see it as a conflict, which makes most greek houses think of themselves as different (and in some cases better) than geeds

Yes the bigger more traditionally Greek houses are anti-geed. And there's a reason for that. With size comes more operations (events, parties, socials, etc). And outsiders see that as the epitome of what they hate about Greek life, namely big attitudes and exclusivity. So you're faced with a bit of a conundrum: join a more low key house and try to stress to your friends that your house is different (news flash, they REALLY aren't) or just bite the bullet and accept our anti-Greek campus and realize that Langdon is a damn fine bubble to call home for 3+ years. I chose the latter, still have plenty of geed friends, but never a minute regret my decision.
