Philanthropies doesn't make you a try hard, it's good rep for the Greek community. Good for theta chi, let them promote it early and raise a lot. Plus SAE's invited people to their boot hockey tournament already too, should they do less?

I dont even like theta chi and I think it's admirable they put so much effort into philanthropy. Other houses could aspire to be a little more like that

@hahaha I don't think it's so much relevancy as wanting to raise more $$ than last year, more time most likely=more $$. They have always been driven by philanthropy...

But I guess If you want to laugh at fighting cancer go for it

it's not about being relevant. it's about raising more money and making the event better than it was last year. If helping raise money to fight cancer makes me a try-hard, then i'll be the biggest try-hard on this campus.
