pi phi

by:

Okay, looking for some outside perspective here: why is it that a few years ago pi phi was a relatively big deal but had a bad reputation (sloppy party girls) and have now seemed to sort of disappear off campus? I mean, I still see them occasionally but it's like they've gone in the total opposite direction. I NEVER see girls wearing their letters, at other chapter philanthropies, even going out. Like what has happened??? I don't get it. It's like they made themselves disappear to try to clean up their reputation but now it seems like they don't even really participate in the greek community at all? Am i crazy?

Senior guy here. Lot of friends in Pi Phi. The reputation, while true, didn't lead to their "slipping", which is REALLY over-exaggerated. Their underclassmen aren't as good as their upperclassmen, but they're still socially relevant and pretty fun. And for you not noticing them, idk what to tell you. I mean I seem them at college just as much as I see them at Hawks or Mondays as anyone else?

Agreed with the senior guy above me. I have friends in Pi phi also and they don't seem any less present in the greek community...

I agree with OP. They used to be one of my favorite sororities but now they're off the radar for a lot of people.
