Is Matt Fallon still in this fraternity? I was planning on rushing next year but I heard he was the reason for the field trip incident and I don't want to be a part of a fraternity with guys like this.

I'm a SigEp and to set the record straight no member of SigEp was responsible for an assault at the event. We were placed on sopro because of underage drinking and failure to check IDs. It's sad someone would throw Matt under the bus for something that he did not do.

then why do FIJI/OX have identical and less severe consequences for those very charge ya named.

and then sig ep has much more serious punishment for "undisclosed charges"

I call bs! Be aware that NO CHARGES WERE DROPPED, SIgEp. Investigation ongoing. And yes, they are SigEp that are involved and "Bucky" is right to question being part of fraternities like this...

It is more than ONE person (both literally and figuratively). Judging a whole group? IT IS A GROUP!! Isn't that the basis of a fraternity? Brotherhood? Suddenly it is "one person makes you look bad"? You're right--you don't have control over what your members decide, but you have control over how you handle and react to unacceptable behavior. If they are a great group of guys and are so upset they should deal with the members, the situation and consequences should be given.
