how do i go about abolishing hell week for my fraternity? will making the university aware effectively do this?

If you don't see your hell week as beneficial to the pledges, then there is something wrong with what you are doing. Talk about having an internal review of what you are doing, don't abolish it, hell week is an integral part of the pledge bonding process.

Talk to people in this order until you get results -> your president -> Advisor -> regional rep (if you have one) -> nationals. If nationals doesn't fix it then the org isnt for you.
