Thought I'd bump this up given the last pathetic post "from a guy" claiming how hot Alpha Phi's pledges are. Yes, they're cute but all the houses did well this year and their class is just average.

I find them annoying, too. Especially the self-promotion. They've done well the last few years, and if they were humble about it, I wouldn't care. Btw, the new pledge class is cute, but I wouldn't describe them as hot or "smoke shows" AT ALL. And I don't believe that a guy posted that, nor do I believe that "he" continues to stalk this forum to defend APhi. LOL

I do, however, think it's disrespectful and uncalled for to call them "alpha fleas". They are a good sorority, and don't deserve name-calling.

i'm going to defend Alpha Phi too. They are getting some pretty hot girls and they are a lot of fun to hang out with. Things change. Get over it.

Well I'll defend them too. I'm not a guy defending Alpha Phi, I am a girl in another sorority who has a lot of good friends in Alpha Phi. And I think they are beautiful. You obviously feel threatened by their success. They have friends in sororities and fraternities throughout the greek system, from the top tier ones to the bottom tier ones. They are doing a great job in improving their sorority and I support them.

No one is saying Alpha Phi is not a good house or have attractive members. However, the incessant self ranks is actually hurting them than helping their cause to be seen as a top tier house. It makes them come off as total try hards and very insecure. (If you're tops then you don't need to keep reminding people of your status.) I can see why people would call them names because sadly, it's a pretty fitting description given their behavior on here.

I am defending them, they are adorable and awesome, it is probably really fun to be in their house because of how enthusiastic they are. So glad I am not in your house, sounds like you are an insecure fun-sucker.
