sigep vs fiji

Sig Ep is considered "part of the big 5" mainly because they want to include themselves in that ranking. They have a total try hard vibe, and it is as if their new member education requires studying up on TFM so pledges learn exactly how to act like a douchebag. All of this aside, they do throw pretty good parties and seem like they have a nice brotherhood between brothers.
From a girl's perspective, Fiji is probably the most underrated house on campus. They have a really cool house (architecturally) and are known to throw fun themed parties that girls love, such as Mardi Gras, Semi Formals, Islander, and others. The guys are a nice but a little bit.....soft. It is pretty much a house full of guys who weren't popular in high school but wanted to join a frat to make themselves cool. Not necessarily a bad thing by any means, but just something to keep in mind.

I'm not gonna tell you where to go; you should make that choice based solely on who you feel more comfortable with
But as an overall look:
Socially: While Sig Ep is "big 5" and FIJI is not, I'd say their socially calendars are actually pretty similar, if there is any difference, Sig Ep is a little bit better
House: FIJI's house is beautiful, historic and on the lake. However, it's a long way down langdon. Sig Ep's is really nice and new but has always struck me as having little character
Reputation: Despite being a "big 5" house, sig ep get's pretty much no respect from other greek houses cuz they try so goddamn hard. FIJI doesn't have this stigma attached to it.
Culture: Sig Ep is all about being as frat as humanly possible and hooking up with girls as much as you can. FIJI is a lot more for the boys and brotherhood oriented. This doesn't mean that sig ep doesn't have brotherhood or FIJI's dont hookup with girls-it's just what they are more known for.
Overall, they are really equivalent houses in terms of social relevance, quality of guys, etc. Just go where you feel more comfortable and like the individual guys more
