why did do many girls drop out

Why? Money? Did THEY drop or were they cut? And why do girls get cut??? SO Many!!!

I'm guessing they dropped because they had their hearts set on a certain house or houses, and then didn't get asked back. That's the usual scenario. Otherwise, some girls drop because they get overwhelmed.
