no bid

by: Soph

Does anyone know yet which houses will snap bid or COB this fall? Is there a list I can get on? I'm especially interested in gphi, dg or axo. Thanks!

If girls drop out of their pledge classes (not sure if that happens) would they pick up other girls along the way this school year or just wait until next fall's recruitment?

Everyone hit quota. Regardless of if girls drop the pledge classes have been established. Either check out axid or wait until next fall

Definitely give AXiD a try if you really want to be in a sorority. If you only want to be in a specific house, then it may not be the right choice for you. They are going to get a great group of girls to choose from.

Am I able to rush AXiD if I went through formal rush and received a bid that I declined?

No, if you received a bid during Formal Recruitment (signed your MRABA- the card where you ranked your Pref parties), and then dropped, you are not able to rush until next fall. You should have either a)stuck it out with the chapter from whom you received a bid or b)not listed on your bid card any chapter from whom you would not accept a bid.
Better luck next year, but you're kinda screwed. Not many chapters will take a chance on someone who's rerushing, and has already dropped a house once before.

Yah, I guess I am feeling screwed. The whole process was eye opening to me. I didn't get my first two choices but only got the one I knew all along I didn't want. Sad.

Same here, how do you rank a house in the bottom each round, then end up a getting a bid from that house. Doesn't seem right

If you knew you wouldn't accept a bid from a certain sorority, then you shouldn't have put it down. You potentially took a bid from someone who did want that house. You didn't get screwed; you screwed yourself.
