Tri delta, alpha xi delta and theta; not sure if I should continue with rush.....
From my group at least, houses like kappa and gphi (ones that seem generally popular and well liked by everyone) definitely had a "type" of girl they were after. Guess I don't fit the mold.

Tridelta and Theta are both well-established, great houses to be in, full of really enthusiastic and friendly women. I'm not in either but know girls in both and they love it. If you feel they're not good houses just from being on here then that's too bad. You should at least go to preference rounds and see what you think after that! It's always better to be Greek than not...you're going to have a great experience no matter what letters you put on. If you're interested in being a founding member of alpha xi delta, you also have the chance to shape a new chapter and its reputation (seems like that's important to you). Good luck in whatever decision you make, but hope you go Greek!

For you and anyone else feeling a little disappointed, or not sure whether to continue with the process or not, I would say stick it out through Preference. Look at the chapters you have left with new eyes, like they're the only chapters on this campus, because for you, this next week, they are. You might make better connections as you meet more women in the chapters, and you might find new favorites. Alpha Xi Delta won't be continuing their recolonization work until after Bid Day, so you might as well keep going and see what you think with what chapters you have now. If, after Preference, you still aren't feeling it with wherever you went, drop out before you rank your Pref parties, and look into AXiD. Good luck, everybody!
