how bad is it if I don't end up in a "big 5" fraternity? Will I still have a fun time in college?

If you get a bid from any of the big five Fiji, the lodge or theta chi.. You'll have a good time. Fiji, lodge and theta chi all have a strong presence and good social calendar. Any other frat won't be as much fun as these 8 listed.

Plus lodge ox and fiji all have some of the coolest houses on campus

those 3 houses actually do have the nicest physical houses by a long shot, toss in maybe du with the renovation too

If you don't get in one of big 5 then I would suggest drop out and move back home... Really... How stupid are you.. what a wanna be. In life it's up to YOU to make the most of the cards that are dealt to you. not trying to suck up and be in a place you don't fit in
