Greek Life is Stupid

I'm a senior in a frat that wasn't great when I joined, but is now considered at least upper mid. As we've become a "better" house, things have honestly gotten worse. When I was a pledge, I knew everyone in the house. Seniors came around, the parties were packed, and nothing every got out of hand. Now kids are doing some serious drugs, no one shows up to brotherhood events, and our philo is a joke. Yeah we mix with "better" sororities, but honestly they either don't show up or act like it's charity work for them to be there. The parties are the same too really, honestly worse. There are so many more entitled girls who treat the house like a playground. I miss the days of tridelt and theta girls. Yeah they are "worse" sororities, but the girls are nicer and more respectful.

Greeklife is so full of insecure kids who just want validation from their peers. People come on here and argue about which frat is better like it actually means anything. Wisconsin in particular is so full of kids who think their organization is the biggest part of their personality. The best guys/girls are always the least involved.

Stop being toxic and grow up. Support the people in your organization and in others. You're really only involved for like 2 years anyways, so wouldn't you rather spend your time uplifting others instead of self-ranking to move up one spot on this site?
