Bar scene question

I’m visiting Madison in early August. What is the bar scene like for those with fakes? What bars could you get into with low risk of getting them taken. I heard bars have been strict lately? Will that change closer to school year?

The bar scene in Madison is tough to get into with fakes. The bouncers are intense and some bars like Double U scan IDs. Kollege Klub and Double U are popular Greek spots but beware of your ID being confiscated.

I would reccomend most of the bars on regent street, brats and whiskey jacks. I’ve gotten into brats without being checked my freshman year, Whiskey jacks knows theyre fake and dont care. I would be careful at sconnies there is one really strict bouncer but most of the time its ok. Jordans and Redzone do not care. There are some bars like Mondays, Double U, and Kollege Klub that I wouldnt even try. If you are a girl city bar doesnt care just dont have a lot of guys in your group.

Any bar on regent street. Socnnies, buckinghams, JB 10, Luckys, red zone u should be fine
