is it true that these sororitys will not give a bid to someone from the east or west coast? I have heard that they try hard to only give midwestern girls bids.

No. Are you kidding? There's a good number of girls from the east coast and girls from the west coast in both sororities.

Not at all true. There's some sororities that tend to have more people from the coasts in them, but all sororities have a mix of people with regards to where they're from. I know people from the coasts in both Kappa and GPhi.
