I was asked to rush again. Should I do it?
by: RushI rushed just one frat this fall. Joined sort of late and had to meet a few of the brothers before getting invited. It went well and they invited me to a couple events. I was social and getting along great with all the the brothers/rushes and was having a really good time. I was talking to a couple brothers in particular who were telling me it was a good sign that I was at that specific event. After that I didn’t hear back for a few days. I texted the brother who invited me and thanked them for letting me rush even though it was late. I didn’t ask about rushing again but they said coming in late hurt me and that they wanted me to come back to the next rush. Is that just a courtesy or should I go for it? I really liked the fraternity.

My big bro jumped into fall rush late at Michigan. Loved the top house but wasn’t offered a bid because the bros hadn't got to know him as well as others. They told him to come back in the spring and not only did he get in but made lifelong friends and had leadership roles. Need to get to know the current actives if you can. Also, check out one or two other houses for back up. Good luck!
