Does anyone knowing what the heck is going on with Gphi!?!! I am so surprised by the girls I’m seeing invited back.

I had heard they were a top tier house but seems their standards are very low

Feel the same. Had really looked forward to checking them out but was disappointed by the conversations I had whereas at Kappa, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice they were. I’m really like DG and Pi phi too

First, let me make this clear. I am NOT a gphi. But this is getting ridiculous and most of us are playing by the rules and being Panhellenic. Every effing year I’ve been on campus APhi has posted the EXACT same posts/threads etc during recruitment. They are always putting GPhi down and making APhi (and others to try to make it less obvious) sound like they are the most wanted house on campus. I mean, the posts are almost exactly the same year after year. Yet every year in reality, GPhi remains on top or near there. And they don’t bother coming on here to defend themselves and that’s partly why they are a great sorority. They have the confidence that they are recruiting quality girls who have personality and are well-rounded that we all actually enjoy being around. Not just girls that have the best IG presence and wear the most makeup who seem like they are the antagonists in a bad 80s movie. Look, Greeklife at Wisconsin is generally really chill except for on here. It just really makes me sad and angry that a sorority that has always been nothing but kind to me and my house is getting repeatedly thrown under the bus by a sorority that chooses to play dirty (it’s their national recruitment policy—-I’m not kidding. Google it). And before the predictable response to this is “but but but these are real posts by real pnms”, just don’t. Some of these posts are VERBATIM from last year. And what pnm starts several threads ripping on just one sorority? It’s so laughable and pathetic. Grow up and recruit on your own merits like the rest of us.

Say what you will about Aphi OR any other sorority active that might be posting this BS but fact remains, this rush is NOT going well for Gphi and that’s just a fact.......so deal

So you admit it’s BS? Lol And I think you just proved her point. No pnm would know how rush is going for any house. Heck, I‘m an active and I don’t even know how rush is going for other houses b/c I’m not on exec or panhel. Of course I’ve heard some rumors but I will tell you they are pretty opposite of what is written on this website. Lol

Completely agree. Wisconsin Greek life is chill. Everyone gets along with this exception. This is a clear case of being threatened. There are plenty of great PNMs to go around, and I’m sure they don’t want to hear this BS. These last few days should be focused on your own house, not your “competition”!

Idk, I don’t think anyone’s stalking posts from last year. I think anybody who is on here remembers this same campaign last year. I do. I didn’t really know any APhis then so I didn’t know if they were actually behind it, but now I definitely think it’s probably true. And to be fair, I do think it’s probably a minority of their members. I do know some nice girls in that house. But the whole thing definitely reflects badly on all of us. Ugh

From what Pnms are saying, it certainly seems Aphi, Kappa, having amazing rushes and Gphi.....not so much—just doesn’t seem like they care or have put in much effort

I was wondering the same thing about both g phi and Alpha phi. Alph phi seems to get even more hate on here than g phi. Why are those two talked about so much?

Since Gphi having terrible rush, how likely is it they will cob or snap bid? Can I drop and let them know I’m interested? I don’t like the choices I have left and could I hold out for them?

You should check with your Rho Gam. I heard G Phi was having a terrible rush too, so maybe they will. I am sorry you don’t like the houses you have left . I am not an expert on rush but I feel like the way Wisconsin does rush results in a lot of unhappy misplaced people. I hope you find a house with real friends that make you happy.
