sigma chi incident

What happened to Sigma Chi?

Is it true that they are no longer a student org and won't be able to rush kids anymore (spring, next fall, etc...)

Thats not true at all. They are going to trial in a few weeks for a standard violation of student org rules. There may be some disciplinary action by the school but no matter what they will still be a student org
