by: deniedI didn't get a bid from the frat I really thought I liked and had a good chance at. Is it ok to ask their rush chair (who I went to high school with) why I didn't get a bid? Wish I woulda known earlier cuz I rushed only there and now have to wait til spring.

Don't try to be too hard on yourself. These things happen, some times you just weren't the right fit, or the selectivity of the frat you tried to join just bumped you out of getting a bid. Don't be disheartened, if you ask the rush chair don't try to sound too desperate, just tell him you are going rush in the spring, and he'll respond accordingly.
