are transfers less likely to get into top houses

by:

I am transferring in for my sophomore year and was wondering if transfers are more or less likely to be accepted into good houses? I want to find a house that fits me best but don’t want to be misplaced because I’m a transfer

Yes. You'll get a bid somewhere but it not the same as if you were rushing as a freshman

I was in the same position as you and it worked out perfectly. A lot of sophomores go through rush and end up getting bids. Just go in with an open mind :)
