how hard getting into top sororities?
by: wishi , I’m an incoming freshman and I am thinking about rushing. I’ve heard a lot to just go in with an open mind since everything about rush is mutual and I’ve got that. this is more out of curiosity. seems to be a lot of conflicting ops about top houses but for the top 3ish (in your opinion) just exactly how difficult is it to actually get a bid from them and get into those exclusive seeming sororities?

over a thousand girls start recruitment, only 60 girls per hourse get a bid. recruitment is not as fierce at UW as other schools where greek life is more important, but it is competitive. you have the wrong mindset if all you care about are the “top” houses. at the end of the rush period you should be happy that a chapter picked you as one of their favorites. many women go without getting bids at all
